Some imagery from today in my backyard:

I have always had plenty of good fall yellows, but I am happy to be nurturing along some more reds:

This Hosta ‘Stained Glass’ looks pretty good for Nov. 6.

Fall color fail. This redbud, which I got at a native plant nursery a few years ago, has been a disappointment.  It had one flower last spring, and so far the fall color has been non-existent.

  1. The idea of growing plants in wheelbarrow is amazing! Have you painted it on your own? I know what I have to do next spring to make my garden look more glamorous..Thank you there! Moving on to your plants – they are so pretty. Since few years I like to experiment a bit with late varieties of vegetables. This autumn I was also cultivating carrots and califlowers but the first plant was a… bingo. Carrots from https://gardenseedsmarket.com/carrot-autumn-king-2.html even they were sprouting a bit long they turned out to be so tasty that my family feasted on everything!
